David Chapman is the Founder and CEO of 919 Marketing. He has over 25 years of senior-level marketing and business development management experience.

David's career path combines corporate and consulting roles, and includes stints as CEO of a national professional services firm, EVP Marketing for the market leader in workforce technology training, and Account Director for the largest global marketing agency network.

He has developed strong brand-building skills while managing brand development programs for a variety of Fortune 500 corporations, including Caterpillar, Duke Medical, GSK, Kerr Drug, Lowe's Home Improvement, McDonald’s, Nabisco Brands, Planters/ Lifesavers, Sara Lee, Time Warner and Unilever.

David has served on the American Marketing Association's Best New Products Awards Panel and has been recognized by the National Association of Certified Consultants. He has been covered by a roster of media outlets, including Pharma Voice, B2B, News & Observer, Triangle Business Journal, Metro Magazine and the Sports Business Journal. He has also penned numerous articles throughout his career and served as a guest columnist for the American City Business Journals and PR News Online.
